Halifax harp on that they give you extra but all I've received is extra hassle and unjustified charges.
Right from the start I've had problems. I applied online which worked ok from my side but the password they sent me didn't work and I wasn't able to go into a branch because their online and offline systems weren't compatiable at the time.
I wanted to pay the minimum payments by direct debit which I completed within days but they took ages to set it up and they charged me £25 because one of my payments was late.
Don't believe the hype!
