After so many bad experiences with various credit card companies, I'm happy to recommend the Lloyds TSB Platinum card.
It was easy to apply for online, I got a quick decision and received my card within 10 days of applying. Managing the account has also proved far easier than before with Halifax and it seems that Lloyds have invested time and money in their online banking system. I also needed to increase my credit limit six months later and this was done instantly over the phone.
At a time when banks are getting such a slating in the media (justified for some) I think Lloyds TSB deserve some praise for listening to their customers and making an effort to exceed expectations.
